ash pill
the focus of this module was on trend research as a teaching tool of the changes in our culture, with a focus on everyday culture. we dealt with the topic of the new spirituality and designed our own future scenarios after intensive research. in this way, future products, phenomena and theses were created that arose from a critical engagement with small, apparently profane, everyday things that reflect large social contexts.
the search for identity and authenticity leads the society back on spiritual and material levels into subtle worlds and creates a new spiritual cosmos of self-discovery. a speculative product that already responds to future spiritual yearnings is the ash pill, a transubstantiation in pill form!
but how did the ash pill come about?
