prêt - à - laver

a textile product that reflects, disturbs, amazes, hacks or makes visible something that was previously hidden, to conceive and produce the goal and to develop its own identity for it. the confrontation with public space as the site of the intervention made it possible to clearly present the messages of the textile product and to react to them.

hygiene, especially personal hygiene, is a major issue in our society. the beauty industry is constantly growing, new treatment therapies, studio concepts are emerging, but the product range for self-use at home always has something to offer for every type. this over abundance, only application before, after or as prophylactic treatment leads to an over sensitization of this topic and finally to the over hygiene of our time which not only allegedly rejuvenates but can also lead to skin irritations and even diseases.

the multifunctional soap cloth for at home and on the way, which, as a supposed purchase of another hygienic article, confronts the washing with the subject through self-awareness, the washing with the topic and also dissolves the concept with itself through the dissolution of the soap and draws attention to over-hygiene through self-reflection.
